Our Company

IHG Pharmaco is a molecular diagnostics company whose patented technology (IHG: Induced Heteroduplex Generators) for SNP screening is a result of 10 years of research by over 10 PhD's. We have been the recipients of two prestigious DTI SMART awards for novel diagnostics in the field of human pathology.

IHG technology is being applied to genetic disease testing, high resolution tissue typing, forensic DNA and pharmacogenetic testing.

The advantages of IHG technology are its absolute clarity, its simplicity and accuracy. It is a flexible technology which can run on a wide spectrum of instrumentation from low throughput polyacrylamide gels to high throughput capillary electrophoresis systems

IHG Pharmaco's Objective

IHG Pharmaco aims to become the leading supplier of SNP tests in human and veterinary medicine. The Pharmacogenetic arena is one in which the company will increasingly focus resources. Preventative medicine to address chronic disease coupled with point of care delivery to patients will become part of routine patient care; IHG Pharmaco intends to be one of the leaders in this initiative.
